Fried Tofu with Cashew Nut

Ingredients

• 1 piece soft tofu, cut into pieces

• 1/2 cup cashew nut, deep fried

• 3 Chinese mushrooms, soak in water about 15 minutes, diced

• 1 onion, diced

• 1 green bell pepper, diced

• 2 tablespoons minced garlic

• 1 teaspoon sugar

• 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce

• 2 tablespoons ketchup

• 2 tablespoons chili sauce

• 2 tablespoons oil

• oil for deep-frying

Technique

1. Deep fry tofu until lightly brown, drain and set aside.

2. Deep fry Chinese mushroom until cooked, set aside.

3. Deep fry bell pepper and onion until cooked, set aside.

4. In a pan over medium heat temperature, fry garlic until golden brown. Add tofu, Chinese mushroom, bell pepper, and onion. Stir to mix well.

5. Add some chili sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, and cashew. Serve on a plate.
